The Matrix
We have learned in the Book of Genesis that YAHUAH, through YAHUSHA, took 6 days to make the earth inhabitable, and on the 7th day they rested. This marked the beginning of the sabbath day of rest, which Adamah made a covenant to keep. When men began to multiply on the earth, the fallen Angels lusted after the daughters of men and went in unto them and had children called nephilim. This co-creation—an abomination—introduced giants, midgets, mental illness, and other deformities in which this mixed blood line will have. They further corrupted creation by grafting, mix-mating, and crossbreeding different species’ of fruits, animals, birds, ocean creatures, and man. That is why Genesis points out that “YAHUAH saw when HE made in ‘like kind,’ that it was good, that all species would pollinate and mate with like kind, the same; it is HIS law.” They defiled creation and poisoned the earth and all living things. Now the same is done, by the same, through ingestion and topicals, including foods, liquids, geoengineering, pharmakia, cosmetics, hair & skin products, clothing, chemicals, etc. Revelation 18:23 says to the rulers of this world, the nephilim bloodline, “And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee [they will be brought low]; and the voice of the bridegroom [YAHUSHA] and of the bride [Yasharal] shall be heard no more at all in thee [they will be left desolate]: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.” The word for sorceries is “Pharmakia.” The book of Genesis says, “there was war throughout the earth in those days, but not before.” YAHUAH regretted that HE made man, yet Noah was still pure (blood) and faithful. To destroy the trail of corruption made by the nephilim, YAHUAH would flood the earth, instructing Noah to build an ark to survive the flood, and to take two of every pure creature of land and air and seed onto the ark with him, which he did. And he landed in the Himalayas on the tallest mountain known as modern day Everest. The bible says, “there were giants in those days and after.” When we studied this verse, we learned that a Nephilim also built an ark and did survive, and landed in modern day Turkey where, according to YAHUSHA in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9, “the seat of satan is, and those who say they are Yahudiym but are not and do lie, they are of the synagogue of satan.” Of course, many have spread throughout the earth since then—they are the elite, the rulers of the world, the Nephilim bloodline. What of the earth? Is the earth we see, or imagine today, the same earth? Do we see only what we both individually and collectively imagine? We are told that a deep sleep was put on Adam/man/human. We learned that many are asleep in a secret chamber, dreaming. Some are filthy dreamers, and some are not: “For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men [nephilim bloodline], turning the grace of our ALUAH into lasciviousness, and denying the only YAHUAH ALUAH, and our King YAHUSHA HaMashiach. I will therefore put you in remembrance [remind you], though ye once knew this, how that YAHUAH, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt [bondage], afterward destroyed them that believed not [all this will happen again says Deuteronomy 28]. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation [fallen angels who laid with woman and birthed nephilim], he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh [homosexuals, animals, other sexual immorality], are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities” (Jude 1:4-8). They are an abomination to be destroyed.
Is this culmination of filthy dreams the world we see today? And we are simply asleep in the secret chambers Enoch described within the earth? What is all this for? Let’s think a moment… they keep us in fear, they keep us in lust, they keep us in bondage, they keep us from TRUTH, they keep us in this world which they manipulated to keep us in compliance with their traditions and gods which leads to death. We will soon regret we followed them and did not repent and learn TRUTH for ourselves. They keep us in sorrow—this sorrow is an earthly sorrow and not heavenly sorrow which we learned we receive by discovering the TRUTH of Salvation; 2 Corinthians 7:10 tells us, “For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.” They keep us in pain, keep us drugged, feed us poison through food, entertainment, money, religion, politics, education, etc. They keep sleep our Ruach; why? Many of us have seen the movie Monsters Inc., when they feed from the fear-energy of the children. Are we not “the children of Yasharal”? In the movie, they used the children’s fear-energy to survive, to rule, to dominate, to extend their time, to run their plants, to give them electrical power, as they could not survive without the children’s fear. We are simply, to them, feed. Ironic how “feed us” is a lot like “fetus”; why is abortion and family planning so important to them? Because we are a power bank. Do you recall on the movie The Matrix when Morpheus explains the construct and the battery? He confirms that that is all we are to them.
Think we are not in a simulation called the matrix? In which we entered through the womb, and remain in their matrix of lies and deceits until we repent, live righteously, and study for ourselves, thereby building our relationship with YAHUSHA through the RUACH? How do we escape this Matrix? How do we leave this world of filthy dreamers? How do we “come out of her my people”? We the chosen, the set apart, the Children of Yasharal, must wake up so they may no longer keep us in this state of deep sleep, thereby buying them more time, draining us of all power (RUACH) given us by YAHUAH. The bible tells how; it says…

Escape this Matrix
By Renewing, Changing, and Transforming the mind and heart. How… how do we transform? Like Romans 12:2 says we should.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of YAHUAH.”
Let’s talk about the Transformed Life—about you and me transforming our life so that we can live like YAHUSHA. The renewed mind is not a goal to reach, but rather renewing the mind is a process to reach the goal of the transformed life.
You and I have a constant battle going on in our lives between our mind and our heart. What is in the heart will win the battle, which is why when it comes to obeying the Word, we need to remember Ephesians 5.
(Ephesians 5:1 and 2)
“Be imitators of YAHUSHA, therefore, as dearly loved children; and live a life of love, just as YAHUSHA loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to YAHUAH.”
If we are going to obey YAHUAH and live a life of love, then knowing the Bible is never enough. Actually, we should understand this from the Law of Moses. The Law of Moses taught us that knowing the Bible, or knowing what to do, was never enough.
(Romans 8:3)
“For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weak through the flesh, YAHUAH sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, [to be a sin offering], condemned sin in the flesh.”
What does it mean here when it says, “What the law was powerless to do in that it was weak through the flesh” ? The Law had all the right commandments: do not lie, do not cheat, do not steal, love your neighbor, etc. But you and I both know that knowing the commandments is not enough to obey them. If we are going to obey the commandments it is not enough to have knowledge. We also need wisdom. We have to transform our hearts. A constant battle is occurring between what we hold in the depths of our hearts and the information that we are holding in our minds.
(Ephesians 5:3 & 4)
“But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for YAHUAH’s Qodeshim people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.”
“[O]bscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking.” If anyone has self-righteousness, anger, bitterness, etc. in their heart in the battle between the heart and mind, what is in the heart will win. This is so important for us to understand. If you and I are going to live like YAHUSHA, we need to understand what Romans 8:3 is saying to us. The Law could not make anyone righteous in the eyes of YAHUAH because unless you clean up your heart, you do not have the power to do the Law. Either you will slack in quantity (fullness) or quality (with joy), if not both.
I was sitting here looking at this verse that says that we should not use obscenity, and I did not have the power to live that law because what was in my heart was overriding what was in my head. When we talk about the renewed mind, we are referring to a key to transforming our hearts. If you and I are going to live righteous (law-abiding) lives before YAHUAH and YAHUSHA, it is not going to be because we know the Scriptures. It is going to be because we clean out our hearts. In Matthew 12:34, YAHUSHA is speaking to the religious leaders…
(Matthew 12:34)
“O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.”
Someone was being pretty foul mouthed and just nasty in general. When confronted about it, he said, “Well, I am only like this when I am hungry and tired.” Well, that is it. What is going on in his heart? What is going on in the heart is privilege, me first, and self-centeredness. What happens when this person is hungry and tired? What happens is, “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” Whatever the heart is filled with will come out. In this person’s case, it was self-centeredness. Suddenly, the nastiness in the heart that is so concealed when everything is going your way, comes out. We call this a Reaction—it is of the heart when the untransformed heart is in control. I think Snickers had commercials depicting this. When the transformed heart through the renewed mind is in control, we call it a Response, as it is thought through, reconditioned, learned, has wisdom, knows right and filters out wrong, does good and flees bad, etc. The Ruach is within.
(Matthew 12:35)
“A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things.”
That is right. We need to learn the keys to store up good in our hearts, storing our treasures in heaven as that is where the heart is. YAHUSHA went on to say, “and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.” This is storing your treasures here on earth, regardless of how comfortable these treasures make you.
YAHUSHA also speaks about the same basic concept:
(Mark 7:21-23)
“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, [t]hefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.”
Absolutely! If you have theft, murder, adultery, greed, and deceit in your heart, you can read a commandment that says, “Thou shalt not lie,” and know that the Bible says such a thing; however, when you are pressed, you are going to lie. Why? You will lie because what is in the heart is what will come out of you. That is why you and I need to think in terms of the transformed heart, not just the renewed mind. Some may say, “I lied to save someone from getting into trouble.” Are you YAHUAH? Their salvation belongs to HIM—would this not be lack of faith on your end? Did you not know that YAHUAH will deal with them according to their fruit? Now you have defiled yourself in the eyes of YAHUAH. The bible says, “let there not be a lie found on your lips.” And Romans 3:5-8 says, “But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of YAHUAH, what shall we say? Is YAHUAH unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man) YAHUAH forbid: for then how shall YAHUAH judge the world? For if the truth of YAHUAH hath more abounded through my lie unto HIS glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.” Therefore, there is no justifiable reason to lie—not even if it would lead to commending YAHUAH in man’s eyes; in YAHUAH’s eyes, all lying is evil. Revelation 14:5 says, “the 144,000 have no guile, for they are without fault.” Not one lie was ever told from their lips, not one sin ever made, there was no sin committed by them to even require forgiveness. There goes every man and woman on earth being disqualified for that spot. That means you, too, jehovah’s witnesses, black Hebrew brothas, christians, jews, islam, jesuits, catholics, and every other denomination and sect… you do not qualify on that alone. We prove who the 144,000 are in a different discussion. Proverbs 12:22 says, “Lying lips are abomination to YAHUAH: but they that deal truly are his delight.”
Let’s talk a little bit about the heart and about the organs of the body. It would seem that everything happens in the mind, the brain. We really got a wake-up call one day when we were doing some translating work in the book of Revelation and saw a very interesting occurrence.
(Revelation 2:23)
“And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am HE which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.”
That is great. It says that “I search your reins”—which most people say is the mind because they read newer translations—“and your hearts.” Wonderful—except the Greek text reads, “I search your kidney and your heart.”
The arguments of the scholars are, “Oh, those poor Greeks and Romans. They were so ignorant. They thought that somehowthe kidneys were involved in the thinking process.” Yet, there is a book called The Maker’s Diet by Jordan Rubin. I read an excerpt in his book. Let’s explore for a moment what is now called the Enteric Nervous System.
Rubin writes:
“People are taught from childhood to believe that the brain is essentially the boss of the body. While it is true that the brain is the centerpiece of our mental capacity of our nervous system, it is also a fact that there are nearly one hundred million nerve cells in the gut alone [Your gut is your esophagus, your stomach, and your intestines] about the same number that are found in the spinal cord. Fully, one half of your nerve cells are located in the gut, so your capacity for feeling and emotional expression depends primarily on the gut and only to a lesser extent on your brain.”
So, the gut has as many nerves as the brain. A lot of your feelings are located in your gut. This is interesting.
Rubin continues:
“Most people would say that the brain determines whether you are happy or sad, but they have their facts skewed. It seems that the gut is more responsible than we ever imagined for mental well-being and how we ‘feel.’”
Award winning science writer, Sandra Blakesley, specializes in cognitive neuroscience. This is what Sandra wrote:
“Have you ever wondered why people get butterflies in the stomach before going on stage? Or why an impending job interview can cause an attack of intestinal cramps? And why do antidepressants targeted for the brain cause nausea or abdominal upset in millions of people who take such drugs? The reason for these common experiences is because each of us literally has two brains, the familiar one encased in our skulls and a lesser known but vitally important one found in the human gut. Like Siamese twins, the two brains are interconnected. When one gets upset the other does too. The second brain in the gut is called the enteric nervous system. The enteric nervous system processes a complex neural circuitry, and this second brain in your gut can act independently from the first brain in your body. Literally, it learns from experiences, remembers past actions and events and produces an entire range of ‘gut feelings’ that can influence your actions. Early in our embryo geneses [meaning when we were early on in the womb] a collection of tissue called the neural crest appears and divides during fetal development. One part turns into the central nervous system; the other migrates to become the enteric nervous system. Both thinking machines form simultaneously and independently of one another until a later stage of development.”
Dr. Michael Gresham, a professor of anatomy and cell biology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, described the body’s second nervous system in his book The Second Brain:
“The brain is not the only place in the body full of neurotransmitters. A hundred million neurotransmitters line the length of the gut, approximately the same number that is found in the brain. The brain and the bowel has got to work correctly or no one will have the luxury to think at all.”
Rubin continues:
“We are still discovering ways that the enteric nervous system mirrors the central nervous system. Nearly every substance that helps run and control the brain has turned up in the gut. Major neurotransmitters associated with the brain including serotonin, dopamine, glutamate, noraepinephrine, and nitric oxide are found in plentiful amounts in the gut as well.”
Interestingly enough, we are going to find that if properly translated, the Bible is going to say that the modern research that is just being done in the last 30 years about the enteric nervous system is correct. By the way, why does this information about the enteric nervous system show up in a book about food and diet? The answer is, how many people do you know that are overweight or pudgy, and they do not really feel good about themselves? The research is showing that the reason that people do not feel good about themselves if they are overweight is that you cannot fool the brain in your gut. It is trying to tell us to lose weight and get in shape. It produces feelings like, “I do not feel good about myself.” That was in The Maker’s Diet.
Once I realized that the Word of YAHUAH had been telling me all along that my feelings and my thoughts were generated from more than just my brain, all of a sudden, what the Bible called “the heart,” made sense. We had for some time known that the Greek word “nous” was the place in your mind where you think, as we read when YAHUSHA said, “Out of the heart comes all these thoughts.” The heart is not just a muscle. It is part of the enteric nervous system. Good independent research has been done that shows that the heart muscle even contains an independent memory. If we were to look in the Bible, we would see that it has been telling us this all along.
(Psalm 26:2)
“Examine me, O YAHUAH, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.”
The word “reins” is the Hebrew word for kidneys. In the Tanakh (Old Testament), it is saying just like Revelation 2:23 above, “Test my kidneys and my heart.” We got it in the Hebrew and the Greek.
(Psalm 16:7)
“I will praise YAHUAH, who counsels me; even at night my heart [kidneys] instructs me.”
The word “heart” in Hebrew is kidneys. Your enteric nervous system, your second brain, is producing thoughts and emotions. How many of us at night have woken up with a good idea or had a dream that helped us, provided guidance, or insight into our lives? Look at this next verse. This is the Word of YAHUAH teaching us about ourselves. It says, “Even at night my kidneys instruct me.” That is a powerful Truth. Even when your eyes are closed you still have vision. YAHUSHA said, “when your eye be single your whole body shall be full of light.” Many say HE is speaking of the pineal gland that lightens up in the darkness, and HE could be. So even while we are asleep, we are being instructed, and we see these instructions in visions, even; the brain is sleeping and the eyes are closed. What HE is really speaking of is the transformed heart and renewed mind working in conjunction, one with another, both being righteous, not evil. As HE says formerly, “the light of the body is the eye.” Then HE continues afterwards, “But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve YAHUAH and mammon.” This is profound. YAHUSHA is telling us we are either one way or the other; there is no gray area. Either your heart is transformed and righteous, or it is evil. How great is that evil? How far are you in your transformation? Building your relationship with YAHUSHA through the RUACH? The more developed, the lesser the evil in your heart; though, still evil as you cannot serve righteousness and evil: “Ye cannot serve YAHUAH [righteousness] and mammon [earthly desires/evil].” In verse 21, HE said, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Where your fruit (results, words, actions, thoughts, deeds, etc.) is, there will your heart be also, because as we read, “the abundance of the heart is what wins.”
Let’s shift to the bowels. If you remember, the second brain also involves the neurons around the bowels.
(Philemon 1:7)
“For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.” Most translations of this verse say “hearts of the saints.”
But the Greek text reads “bowels” for the word “hearts”; you have refreshed my bowels. I do not completely understand how these neurons and everything work together, but I can tell you this. We have spent times where we will be down or stressed or up-tight or having a bad day, and a good friend will come and spend time with us and talk, and then we feel so much better afterwards. It is not that you have a cognitive reason. You just feel better. That is what this verse is telling us. It is telling us that the whole second brain in the gut is producing thoughts and emotions and feelings. The Word tells us here that the “bowels are refreshed when a brother/friend comes and helps us out of our funk.”
Due to this discussion already being lengthy, we go into the liver and belly verses on a different discussion—we’ll do this when we cover proper diet. It is all in the Word of YAHUAH. That is why the Word of YAHUAH has to be properly translated if we are going to derive TRUTH from it. These verses need to be translated properly if we are going to learn what YAHUAH is telling us about HIM and about us. He tells us to “rightfully divide the word of TRUTH” (2 Timothy 2:15).
Why do we bring all this up in a discussion on the transformed life? It is important when we go to become more like YAHUSHA that we learn what is involved. We are not just a brain that is stacked on a bunch of muscles. YAHUAH has interwoven the emotion and the thinking and the life of YAHUSHA through our whole body. The brain does the thinking, yes, as when I memorize a scripture like, “thou shalt not bare false witness”; this is resident in my brain. If selfishness is in thy heart (by heart it can mean the inner core of the brain, but it means more than that), and if selfishness is imbedded in the cellular memories of the body that exist in my heart muscle, my gut (because each cell has its own brain), and wherever else they exist that we have not even found out about yet, it does not matter if one memorizes “thou shalt not bare false witness” ten billion times and has it posted on every wall in their house, for I will end up lying or speaking untruths. Why? It is because what is in our heart will come out.
What is in our mind is obvious to us. Someone comes up to us and asks, “Hey, what are you thinking?” You tell them what you are thinking, no problem. Someone comes up to you and asks, “Hey, what is in your heart?” Most of us do not know. The heart, biblically, is just completely interwoven in all that cellular memory; it is in the depths of the mind. It is in the heart muscle itself. It is in the enteric nervous system. It is not immediately accessible to the mind. How do you find out what is in the heart? We do this by paying attention to what YAHUSHA said: “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” What do you say and how do you act when you are tired, hungry, lonely, or feeling ripped-off? How do you act when you get a flat tire? How do you act if the dishes come out dirty from the dishwasher? If we pay attention to ourselves and do not excuse our evil behavior, then we will know what is in our heart. Again, we are back to the one who said, “I am only this nasty when I am tired and hungry.” That is nastiness in the heart. It is difficult to be healthy in this manner. If someone is making you upset or feel bad, then this is in your heart, your molecular system; you will be sick, you find it difficult to lose weight, nothing will feel good, you lack optimism, or are unable to see things positively. Someone who is making you feel bad is not your brother who will come and take you out of your funk, but rather puts you in it—get away. We have learned that diseases such as Fibromyalgia are caused by someone bottling much guilt and great resentment. Many cases have been cured simply through praying, counseling, diet, and significant lifestyle changes. This is a transformation of the Heart (gut, kidneys, brain, nervous system, etc. = the mind).
Nobody was more mistreated than YAHUSHA. Nobody was more badly beaten than YAHUSHA. Nobody went through more indignities, being hung up naked in front of HIS Father, and all those critics that went by and yelled at him and mocked him and laughed at him; and yet, did he get angry? Did he curse? Did he call down lightening on people? No, HE did not. He turned to the thief that was next to him who deserved to be crucified and said, “You will be with me in paradise.” He gave that man comfort and hope on which he could die. How did YAHUSHA do that? How did HE go through all that and not have all this filthiness come out of his life? The answer is that YAHUSHA transformed his heart. He had a clean heart. His whole molecular system was clean. He mastered the commandments, including the dieting; this is why we are given a specific diet—to keep our systems clean, and the Word to keep our Ruach clean.
One way that you can find out what is in your heart is to pay attention to how you act and what you say when things are not going your way. Another way that you can find out what is going on in your heart, if you are blind to yourself, is by other people—if they are good friends they will come and tell you. YAHUSHA called a lot of people blind, or as HE said in Matthew, “Having a beam in your eye,” for you are blind to what is really going on in your life. You will then need friends. Not just a true friend, but a Friend in Truth who will come and help you. Don’t get mad at them, they are holding a mirror in front of you to see your self-reflection. Your cells are filthy; transform them to cleanliness. This means changing the people in your life, changing your diet, responding and not reacting, studying the TRUTH for yourself, etc.
Let’s move on to purifying our hearts. How do we go about it? The first thing that we need is hope. The good news about the heart is that it is always changing. It does not matter how badly you have been raised. It does not matter how deeply entrenched your bad habits are. It does not matter how much bitterness or anger or problems or selfishness or sexual problems or whatever it is that you have in your heart. It does not matter how bad they are; the good news is that the heart is always changing. Paul was a major persecutor of his own people, yet look what he became. In Psalms 51, David had murder committed as he was the guy that ordered it to happen. David committed murder and adultery. In Psalms 51 he did not cry in his beer and say, “Oh YAHUAH I am just a terrible person. I cannot change.” No, not at all. What he said is…
(Psalms 51:10)
“Create in me a pure heart, O YAHUAH…”
Amien, that is my prayer too. “Create in me a pure heart, O YAHUAH,” because the heart is always changing. It can also change in the other direction. If you start looking at this subject in the Word of YAHUAH, you will find a number of places where the Bible talks about people’s hearts becoming calloused or becoming this way or that way.
(Matthew 13:15)
“For this people’s heart has become calloused…”
That is sad because it says that their heart “has become calloused.” Nobody has to have a heart that has become calloused. If your heart becomes calloused, then you are not paying attention to all the signs and sign posts that would stop that from happening.
Ephesians speaks of people that have lost their sensitivity.
(Ephesians 4:17-19)
“This I say therefore, and testify in YAHUAH, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of YAHUAH because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more.” How many of us only want to satisfy the lusts of the flesh when it is impossible? It is never satisfied, like a dog chasing its tail—it never catches it.
(1 Timothy 4:1-2)
…talks about people whose consciences have become seared:
“The Ruach [Spirit] clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.”
What you and I want to do in living like YAHUSHA is not become more calloused or more insensitive, but to become constantly more sensitive. What we are going to see is that by controlling what goes into our heart, our cellular system, our organs, food, people, environment, and chemicals, we control the transformation of the heart, thereby feeling good and giving good fruit. Think of the heart as a drinking glass. Your mind is the water filter in place above the glass. What we want to ensure is that the stuff that drops into your heart (glass) from your mind (filter) is the good stuff. We want to filter out all the impurities: no chemicals, fluoride, pesticides—it is not hurt, anger, envy, or selfishness; but rather love, joy, peace, and forgiveness. In other words, what we will see in Scripture is that the mind is the gateway to the heart. That is why we need to “be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). In renewing our mind, we control the thoughts that go into our heart. We respond and don’t react; we think it through, filter out the negative, send the positive to the heart, then respond.
Romans has a key that is absolutely powerful towards living a life for YAHUAH.

“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world…”
Amien. To transform your life you are going to have to purify your heart so that when you are the one who is tired and hungry, nastiness does not ooze out of your pores. So if you have a flat tire, it is not accompanied by a string of expletives because you in your heart of hearts do not think that this should happen to you—that is just selfishness. Why do you get angry in those situations? It is all just selfishness and self-centeredness. The first thing that you have to do if you are going to become like YAHUSHA and have a transformed heart, is that you have to stop putting the nastiness in there. As long as you are putting nastiness into your heart and some good stuff, what will come up most of the time is going to be the bad stuff. That is the way it works, the abundance—welcome to the fallen nature and sins of the flesh!
(Ephesians 2:2)
“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the way of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience.”
You follow the ways of the world, and the world has ways of doing things. This is a very interesting Greek word and we learned a lot while studying this. The Greek word for “ways” is aion {ahee-ohn’). We get our “eon” from it. I always thought that it was a period of time, no big deal, got that, but the verse did not make any sense because it said, “You follow the eon of this world.” You follow the period of time of this world. That did not make any sense to us, so we started to do the lexical work on it. We found out that the word “aion” as it is used in Greek is what occurs in a period of time. It is not the period of time per se as much as it is the atmosphere or characteristic of that eon. In ancient times it was recognized that various time periods had various characteristics. An example of this would be what we call the period in which we live today, the information age. What this verse is saying here is that you follow the atmosphere created by the world. It is just like a restaurant. You go into a Mexican restaurant and they try to create a Mexican atmosphere. You go into a Japanese restaurant and they try to create a Japanese atmosphere for you to enjoy eating that particular type of food, and you come back for more. This is precisely what is done in the world—the trending ways and atmosphere of it: an atmosphere of selfishness. An atmosphere of free sex. An atmosphere of “me first.” An atmosphere of me-time instead of family-time, party-time instead of study-time, Sunday worship instead of sabbath day, holidays instead of YAHUAH’s Qodeshim Days, an atmosphere of do what thou wilt instead of keeping YAHUAH’s laws, an atmosphere of whatever you feel you just express; if you are angry, you just let it all hang out, and you rip into those people around you. You let those four letter words fly and let everybody know how upset you are, and no one better challenge your heart or they are cancelled. That is the atmosphere of our age.
What does Romans 12 say? It says for one thing that you are not going to live a godly life if that is the way that you think and act. It says that the first thing that you have to do if you are going to be transformed is that you are going to have to not conform any longer to the pattern of this world. That means that the clothing that you wear may be a little more conservative than what the people around you are wearing. It will mean that your language is cleaner than the next person’s. It will mean that there are a lot of shows or movies that you will not go see because what is expressed in them is ungodly and not helpful to you, nor would it be approved by our Abbah (heavenly Father whom we obey). When you do not conform to the culture, you stand out; you are the salt of the earth, you are the light on the hill. That goes with the territory when you are living like YAHUSHA. HE said, “remember they hated me [HIM] first, and they hate you because HE calls you out of this world.” YAHUSHA is calling you to stand out, but remember that this is for our Baruhk. I can stick all of those verses up there that say do not curse, do not lie, and do not steal, but unless I change my heart, what is in my heart is going to come out to others.

“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
A lot of material is here for us to see and contemplate. First of all, “be transformed” is in the passive voice. If we know anything about English grammar, the active voice is what the subject does. “I threw the ball.” The subject, “I,” is doing the action. The passive voice is what happens to the object. “The ball was thrown to me.” In this sentence I passively receive the action done by the subject. “The ball was thrown to me.” That is important because in this verse, the word transformed is in the passive voice. What does that mean? It means that you can work your tail off and not transform yourself. You do not transform yourself. You say, “But I want to be transformed!” Me too! We cannot transform ourselves; we can only be transformed. That is why we said early on in this discussion that the goal is the transformed life. That is our goal, to be transformed, to be so joyful, so peaceful, so selfless on the inside that things can happen to us like what happened to YAHUSHA, and we can then respond like HE did instead of responding with anger or with things that lash out from our selfishness. We are told in the end times that we may have to carry this cross and be persecuted, beheaded, die for HIS Namesake; how will your heart respond?

“…be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Ah-ha, now we are at the renewed mind. This is why we said that the renewed mind was the key to transformation. You cannot transform yourself. We can pray, we can cry, and we can jump up and down. It does not make any difference. We cannot transform ourselves, but what we can do is renew our minds. As we renew our minds, the wonderful thoughts that we are holding in our renewed minds drip down into our hearts. Over time the heart will be transformed.
Praise YAHUAH! Let’s look a little closer at the renewed mind. The Greek word for renewed is anakainosis {an-ak-ah’-ee-no-sis). The word “new” in Greek has two different words. Neos is “new in time” like a car that just comes off the assembly line with the paint barely dry—that car is new, brand new; it is neos. But you take an old car and fix it up and you bring it back to a like-new condition, that is kainos {kahee-nos’}. This means “new in quality, like-new, refurbished.” I do not know about you, but I am getting old. I am 51 and I am not going to have a new, neos, mind. I can, however, have a new, kainos, mind. I can have a mind that is new in quality. The prefix ana- means “up.” It is hard to say, “Up new your mind.” The English language does not have such a word, so they make it “renew.” Maybe if we were computers instead of people, they could call it an upgrade—that would be okay. If we were pipe fitters, they would say, you “up-fit.” For us, what we need to understand is that what the Bible is directing us to do here is to bring our mind up to a new quality. Think about what the average person thinks. I have heard complaints through the years by men who go to work and say, “The men at my work only talk about women and cars.” You will also find women who only talk about worldly things or sensual things. The Bible says that if you want your heart to be transformed, then you have to bring your mind up to a new quality.
(Ephesians 4:22-25)
…talks about putting off the old man to put on the new man, the same concept:
“That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the Ruach [spirit] of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after YAHUAH is created in righteousness and true Qodeshim [holiness]. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.” We are members of One Body, One HaMashiach, One Qahal.
(Philippians 4:8)
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable– if anything is excellent or praiseworthy– think about such things.”
Let’s be honest about this. YAHUAH is telling us how to bring our mind up to a new quality. He is telling us about what to think. He says, “If it is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy, that is what we are to think about.” That is what we filter into our glass.
It is difficult, when the culture is evil, for us to be godly. YAHUAH is not making any excuses for that. The culture was very ungodly at the time of the Apostle Paul, and Paul, by revelation, gave in Romans this advice, “You cannot conform to your culture. You cannot do it.” We cannot conform to our culture; we must be transformed by the renewing of our mind because if we conform to our culture, by definition, we will not be bringing our mind up to a new quality. We cannot serve two masters. It is no different now. It has been over 2000 years, but it is the same world; Solomon said “there is nothing new under the sun.” YAHUAH said, “same people then is the same people today.” Same like-culture, different times. In a fallen culture, this is very difficult to do.
We must make up our minds that we are going to do it. We control the television shows that we watch. We control the music that we listen to. We control the movies that we see. We control the way that we dress. We control the company we keep. We need to work diligently if we want to have a transformed heart. Remember, you cannot transform your heart. It will only be transformed as you decide to bring up your mind to a new quality, and if you do not make that decision, your heart will not change. The behavior and the things that we see coming out of our lives will not make us happy.

“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”
It is a challenge in a fallen world, but it is what we need to do.
(Proverbs 4:23)
“Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.”
This speaks on what goes in and comes out of the heart. The life that flows out of you naturally as the events of life unfold, such as you getting up in the morning and realizing that your alarm clock did not go off, or if you get a phone call as your toast pops up and you have to have cold toast that day, or as you are driving to work and there is a big traffic jam; these will all reveal what is in your heart. The heart is the well spring of your life, whether you are feeling wonderful about life and able to handle it, or whether you are just feeling beaten down, defeated, and angry all day long, it will come right out of the heart. Scripture says, “Guard your heart.” Yes, it is not easy, but as we said, “The heart is constantly changing.” For ladies I know it must be more difficult during menstruation and pregnancies. This is what your sister Havah (Eve) brought about when she allowed herself to be deceived by the serpent. The Book of Genesis tells us that through these cycles you may be saved; you must be extra careful to guard your heart and transformation during these times as the heart (body, gut, nervous system, etc.) experiences much imbalance and discomforts.
One of the problems that we have in our society is pornography. The photographic industry has made pornography readily available, so pornography is a huge issue in today’s world. In March 2020:
“Over seventy percent of American men ages 18 to 34 view Internet pornography once a month. Interestingly, other surveys revealed that one in three visitors to adult web sites is a woman.”
Pornography is an example of something in our culture that has just become an epidemic. It takes really setting your mind and getting help to break that cycle. Scripture is way ahead of us on this.
2 Peter 2:14 makes a very interesting statement. It is so helpful if we have translations that accurately portray the Greek text. It is the text that is YAHUAH’s Word, not the translation of it, unless the translation matches perfectly.
(2 Peter 2:14)
“With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning.”
The Greek text does not read this way. Get out your Interlinear Bible or Lexicon and check it yourself. It says, “With eyes full of an adulteress, they never stop sinning.” Men, we have spoken to say, “I just do not know what to do. I have not looked at pornography in six months, and I can bring those pictures back in a snap. I just close my eyes, and there they are.” Because of the way that YAHUAH designed us as sexual beings, when we are sexually excited, a biochemical reaction occurs, so it is not just a memory that occurs in us as in when we are memorizing flash cards or something. YAHUAH designed us as sexual beings so that when we get excited sexually, a biochemical locking occurs. It is supposed to work in our marriage; that is the whole thesis behind this. YAHUAH created this so that our marriages would be completely wonderful. What happens when we get off into sin is unfortunately the same processes that YAHUAH put in place to make our sexual lives within our marriages wonderful and exciting. The same also keeps us in bondage when pornography or such is introduced.
One study that I read said that it takes up to 3 years to break down memory pathways. What is the good news? They do go away. What is the bad news? They go away slowly. What is the greater news? The more we work to build our relationship with YAHUSHA, the quicker they go away. We have to be diligent by renewing our minds, up-newing—bringing our minds up to that new quality constantly.
1 Corinthians 9:24 is where we think that those living YAHUSHA-like, who are really going to go after this, have to set him or herself apart. We have to really be aggressive at obeying Scripture.

“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.”
This is a great verse that shows the contrast between those trying to live like YAHUSHA, and the American culture. Those like YAHUSHA are willing to discipline their body and make it their slave, while the culture is saying, “Do what you feel. Do what makes you feel good. Follow your feelings. Live.” I trust that you do realize that following your feelings will not make things better, but rather it will only make things worse. Paul made his body his slave. He did what he knew to be right, not what he felt like doing. When you and I start out on our journey to be YAHUSHA-like, what we want to do does not feel good or natural. That is why YAHUAH designed us so that the brain rules the body. You can be feeling, “I am uncomfortable doing this,” but if you know that it is the right thing to do, then you push through it. Those feelings will change. YAHUSHA fasted 40 days and 40 nights. HE defeated ALL temptations, including the wealth which satan offered HIM, yet HE declined, but the worldly elite has accepted.
We are familiar with this verse:
(James 4:7)
“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
There is a corollary to this. Many people fail when they try to stop sinning, but we have to be aware of sin with which we are dealing.
(1 Corinthians 6:18)
“Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.” Which body? The body of the Qahal. We lower our status in the body of HaMashiach as we sin sexually.
James 4:7 said that “we are to resist the Devil, and he will flee.” 1 Corinthians 6:18 says that we are to “flee from sexual immorality.” Have you thought about the fact that living YAHUSHA-like, certain sins are there from which we need to flee? In this case, this verse says to flee from sexual immorality. This is very easy for us to understand because YAHUAH created us as sexual beings, so your sexual feelings are not unnatural. You cannot resist them and hope that they will just go away. You have to flee from them. Get yourself away from ungodly sexual situations or sexual temptations. That means that if you are tempted by pornography on the Internet, then you take the actions that are necessary so that you flee from that. For example, you could get an Internet service provider that simply filters all of that stuff out for you, or a software program like Covenant Eyes, or change your settings to do it for you. Obviously, every situation is different. We each go to YAHUAH and figure out how we are not going to conform to the worldly culture, and we keep it that way and fight through it. Some of the things from which we are to flee is sexual sin (1 Cor. 6:18). 1 Corinthians 10:14 says to flee idolatry. And 1 Timothy 6:10-11 says to flee the love of money.

“For the love of money is a root of all of evil. Which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows [worldly sorrows]. But you, O man of YAHUAH, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, Godliness, faith, love, patience and gentleness.”
As we are working with our minds to become more like YAHUSHA, we should be aware of some really helpful things.
Let us first of all not fall into the cultural trap of saying, “That is just the way that I am.” That is never true. YAHUAH designed us to be like YAHUSHA. We can be like YAHUSHA because the heart is always changing. Do not ever be satisfied with being just the way that you are if it is not like YAHUSHA.
Another thing which we should be aware is that acting out in ungodly behavior never releases the pressure that we feel, but it rather reinforces the behavior. This is important and has been proven over and over again. A period of time occurred in modern psychology when people thought that if someone had anger they could just act it out and release it, then all that anger would go away. They would do things like hitting each other with rubber sticks, get punching bags and punch out the anger, now you can pay to break ceramic dishes or other things. They also had a time where they had something called primal scream therapy. It was believed that if you were all pent up inside, then you would scream and let it all out, and everything would be better. Do you know what they found out clinically? They found out what the Word of YAHUAH already tells us: “If you act out bad behavior, then the bad behavior will become worse.” We see this with pornography all the time. The man who is content at first seeing a women with just her bare breasts, a year down the road, has to see her fully naked. Another year or two down the road, that man has now got to see a woman in some kind of perverted or twisted thing. Psychology has proven over and over again what the Bible would tell us, which is do not act on your evil thoughts and inclinations. Cut them off, do not act on them, and work on changing your mind.
A second response can help you. If say, for example, in the flat tire situation where one may start cursing, instead of just stopping to curse, take the time to stop and breath, talk to YAHUAH, and say what you would like to have said. This is called the second response. It helps train your brain to do the Godly thing the first time. I know that sometimes when you are changing from an ungodly behavior to a Godly behavior, people say to just quit. Sometimes that is difficult. If it is hard for you to just quit, then try replacement. People who want to stop smoking will find that it is sometimes easier if they do something else rather than just stop. We need to be aware that sometimes we cannot just stop, but we need to shift our behavior.
Be patient with yourself and persevere. Obscenity is not a godly thing and is a sin in the eyes of YAHUAH. I still wrestle with it in certain situations. Always be patient with yourself and persevere. Remember that you have a sinful nature. You are not just changing a habit. You are repressing your very sinful nature. Every once in a while, that nature will leak out of you, so cut yourself some slack for that. Do not beat yourself up horribly if you make an occasional mistake. Be patient with yourself and persevere—that is important. The battle to resist temptation can be very difficult, so be willing to roll up your sleeves and fight; like Paul, beat your body and make it your slave. It is not easy to not conform to our culture. It is not easy to be transformed by bringing your mind up to a new level, but it is important that we are striving to do it. As we are in the battle, and we are doing YAHUAH’s will, it will glorify HIM and it will be a baruhk to us.
YAHUSHA baruhk you as we walk together in this walk of transformation to be like YAHUSHA in the depths of our hearts!
What does YAHUSHA say about our transforming minds so that we may escape this Matrix where we are usurped by the evil doers of this world? How does HE say we should we be?

“And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Baruhk are the poor in Ruach [spirit]: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Baruhk are they that mourn [for Salvation]: for they shall be comforted. Baruhk are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth [become the head and not the tail]. Baruhk are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness [keep the law and the Word of TRUTH]: for they shall be filled. Baruhk are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Baruhk are the pure in heart: for they shall see YAHUAH. Baruhk are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of YAHUAH. Baruhk are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [beheaded for HIS namesake and placed at HIS Throne in white robes]. Baruhk are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven [where you stored your treasures]: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men [eye be single], that they may see your good works, and glorify your Abbah [Father] which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot [dot on the i] or one tittle [cross on the t] shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled [the law is still to be kept as the kingdom of heaven is not yet here, therefore all has not been fulfilled]. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” And what are these least commandments? All those above!
Due to such great evil on the earth, this world must be destroyed once and for all to free everyone—first, in our hearts. We cannot do it ourselves. We must follow these instructions.
(2 Corinthians 5:17-21)
”Therefore if any man be in YAHUSHA, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of YAHUAH, who hath reconciled us to himself through YAHUSHA HaMashiach, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; That is, that YAHUAH was in YAHUSHA, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for YAHUSHA, as though YAHUAH were pleading through us: we pray you on YAHUSHA’s behalf, be reconciled to YAHUAH. For HE made HIM who knew no sin to be a sin offering for us; that we might become the righteousness of YAHUAH in HIM.”
Build your relationship with YAHUSHA, renew your mind to transform your heart, kidneys, liver, lungs, gut, etc.; this is the Ruach in you. “But the fruit of the Ruach is love, joy, peace, longsuffering [patience], gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are HaMashiach’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts” (Galatians 5:22-24). This is saying, if you are all of these things and the like, you are keeping the law as they go hand in hand. You cannot do one without the other; they are the same master, righteousness. You are not falling for the temptations of lust, you are controlling your thoughts, body, heart. Your Ruach is in HaMashiach and HE in you.
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of YAHUAH our Abbah. I Love you ALL, Enjoy the rest of your Sabbath. May the wings of YAHUAH cover you, and may the love of YAHUSHA be in you. Selah!
