The Stumblingblocks of Paul’s Epistles, Part III

Food, Clean or Unclean?

YAHUAH placed a RUACH (spirit) on Paul that would trap many—the unlearned. One of them is the subject of unclean foods (pork, shrimp, crab, lobster, etc.). Many people believe these things (unclean foods) have been done away with. That Paul clarifies HaMashiach sanctified and made clean the unclean foods. And many people think that not eating pork is a muslim doctrine; however, the muslims adopted that law from the scriptures. YAHUAH put these stumblingblocks in place for many to fall for them. Scripture says, “let him with an ear hear”:

  • As a reminder, 2 Peters 3:15-16 – “And account that the longsuffering [patience] of YAHUAH is Salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”

Even Peter is telling us that Paul’s writings are stumblingblocks. This is a disclaimer that Peter is giving to us through the RUACH of YAHUAH. He is saying that all of Paul’s epistles, not just Romans and Galatians, but all are difficult to be understood. And they that are unlearned, who do not have any idea about the laws, statutes, and commandments, the Torah and Tanach, will not understand these scriptures. This is why the churches tell you to stay out of the Tanach, out of the Apocrypha, because they do not want you to discover that they are leading you to damnation. Peter is telling you so you will not be able to hold Paul accountable at your time of judgement and say, “Paul, why did you write it this way?” Peter is telling you that you will have to pay the penalty for accepting things that you think, according to your own understanding, and/or your pastor creating doctrine out of these things; you are going to have to pay the penalty. This subject, as well as others, such as dress code, hair styles, claims that you do not have to keep any of the dietary laws, and saying that Paul said it is done away with—you are going to have to pay the price if you are following that false doctrine.

  • 1 Timothy 4:4 – “For every creature of YAHUAH is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving.”

This is one thing about we Yahudiym. We do not run from the scripture. We are going to read it and define it. We are going to pull out the scriptures that churchianity uses for doctrine and show how they are being misinterpreted; we are running to them. It says here, “every creature”; they will tell you that you can eat any creature. Can you? Can you eat anything you want? Is Paul saying that? Is it that literal? Well, if we were the church we’d say, yes. Shouldn’t we first define “every creature”?

  • Revelation 5:13 – “And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Barukh, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto HIM that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.”

What is John letting you know here? He is letting you know that humans, even Angels and cherubim, are included in the list of creatures. He is defining what creature is as scripture defines scripture. Being that humans are also creatures and Paul said, as we read, that “every creature is good and nothing to be refused,” is Paul giving you the authority to be a cannibal and eat humans? He did not say, “every creature except humans.” He is not talking about food at all, but the church will tell you that he is. You have to get the understanding… Imagine, “Uh… you know Mrs. Betty about to pass away dawg, I-I got first dibs on the legs homie.” I wouldn’t be surprised if this does happen in these other nations. Let’s back up a few verses to get context and define what Paul is really saying…

  • 1 Timothy 4:1-4
    • 1 – “Now the Ruach speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils”; eating pork, shrimp, crab, lobster is a seducing spirit in a doctrine of devils.
    • 2 – “Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.” What does it mean “having their conscience seared with a hot iron”? Like taking an iron and burning the iron onto a shirt, you have the imprint of the iron burned into the fabric, and there is no amount of washing or detergents that will clean that off, it’s done. This is saying, no matter what scriptures of Truth you tell these people, no matter what they see or hear, they will not receive it, but only the doctrine of devils/hypocrites in these last days. You cannot remove the false doctrine from their heads. YAHUSHA could come down and tell them TRUTH and they still will not believe. This has already happened; they are still waiting for their messiah.
    • 3 – “Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which YAHUAH hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the Truth.” Keep this in mind: It says, “Abstain from meats which YAHUAH hath created to be received with thanksgiving.”
    • 4 – “For every creature of YAHUAH is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving.” Here, “every creature of YAHUAH” is referring to the previous verse “which YAHUAH hath created to be received with thanksgiving.” Not human beings, pork, shrimp, crab, lobster. That is not what he is saying. He is saying “and nothing is to be refused….” Listen: “OUT OF THE CREATURES which YAHUAH created TO BE RECEIVED with THANKSGIVING.” Now we need to define: what are the creatures that “YAHUAH created to be received with thanksgiving”? This is as if you are creating a grocery list; you tell me, “Everything on that list is for thanksgiving.” Does this mean every grocery item on the planet is for thanksgiving? No, it means only the list you created. Do I automatically know what is on the list you created? No, I’d have to hear it or read it to know. So, let’s read YAHUAH’s list of “creatures created to be received with thanksgiving.”
    • Leviticus 11:1-10
      • 1 – “And YAHUAH spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them…” Saith who? Who spake unto Moses? Saith YAHUAH. Not Paul, not me, not your pastor, not the catholic church or any religion or leader thereof, but saith YAHUAH; therefore, it CANNOT be changed—HE is never changing.
      • 2 – “Speak unto the children of Yasharal, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.” “These are the beasts which ye shall eat among ALL the beasts that are on the earth.” YAH begins with the land creatures that we may eat:
      • 3 – “Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.” This is the criteria of meats on the land that can be received with thanksgiving.
      • 4-8 – “Nevertheless these shall ye NOT eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.”  These are the beasts you CANNOT eat because even though they meet one or two criterions, they do not meet all three: camel, cooney, rabbit, swine/pork/pig—this thing has no sweat glands, nor ability to regurgitate; it eats anything, including people.
      • 9 – “These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.” Now he is defining what we may eat that are in the waters—two criterions: fins and scales.
      • 10 – “And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you.”YAH says, “anything else is an abomination”: catfish, squid/calamari, shrimp, crab, lobster, oyster, sardines, octopus, shark, dolphin (some canned tuna contains dolphin). All those animals and any other that do not have fins and scales on them are not fit to “receive with thanksgiving.” Paul, in 1 Timothy 4 (above), is not telling you that you may now go and eat these creatures; he is not. He said the ones which “YAHUAH deemed as receiving with thanksgiving.” These are the definitions of what you can eat and a small example of what you cannot eat. Is the taste of a shrimp worth being in the lake of fire forever? Do you think that is too extreme? We will know who YAHUAH will punish in the end days by the end of this discussion. There is a punishment…
    • 1 Timothy 4:3-5 – “Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which YAHUAH hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of YAHUAH is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:For it is sanctified by the word of YAHUAH and prayer.” So now we have a clear understanding of what Paul meant by saying, “every creature is good to be received with thanksgiving.” Paul was referring to Leviticus when he was saying this. Why did Paul decide to write this in his letter? He tells us here in verse 5, “For it is sanctified by the Word and prayer.”
    • 1 Corinthians 10:25-28
      • 25-26 – “Whatsoever is sold in the shambles [markets], that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:For the earth is YAHUAH’s, and the fulness thereof.” Paul is saying, “whatsoever or whatever is sold in the meat markets, eat, ask no questions for conscience sake.” He’ll explain as to what was going on that he had to tell them this, that “every creature that YAHUAH created and made good for thanksgiving is acceptable.”
      • 27 – “If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.” He is saying the same thing. That when someone who is a non-believer of this Truth invites you over for a feast, go ahead and eat it as long as it is on the receivable list in Leviticus and not obvious that it isn’t; rabbit looks like chicken, so if you ate it and did not know what it was, don’t panic, it’s O.K., let your conscience be cleared.
      • 28 – “But if any man say unto you, this is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is YAHUAH’s, and the fulness thereof.” Here, Paul is saying, “if the meat, even the ones that are receivable, are sacrificed unto idols, other gods, do not eat it.” Paul is saying in verse 27, “do not ask questions for your own conscience sake.” In that verse, information was not offered by the guest, and you did not ask questions because it is considered rude. Because a lot of idol sacrifice was going on in the markets and at people’s homes, and they still are today. You will learn that you would not be able to eat anything as pretty much most of it is sacrificed to idols today, even when praying unto J.C., an idol. Paul is saying, “just don’t worry about it, eat it. Because YAHUAH sanctified it and your conscience is clear, it is unintentional consumption.” That is why we pray for HIM to Barukh our food and to be delivered from evil. But if you go asking questions and you learn that you ate unclean foods, eventually you may feel guilty for eating it. We are not to intentionally prepare food with unclean meats, nor eat what is obviously unclean or sacrificed to idols. There were people that taught doctrine where they would tell people not to eat meat because it was all being sacrificed to idols. You’d be surprised today what they are doing. This is all Paul is saying. It has nothing to do with “now you can go out and eat possums, squirrels, snakes, lizards, pork, and babies,” no! This, to the unlearned, says you can eat whatever you want (the do what thou wilt doctrine) because YAHUAH blessed it and created it.
    • Isaiah 65:2-5
      • 2-4 – “I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts; A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick; Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels.” YAHUAH calls us a rebellious people; HE stretches out HIS hand and we just spit in HIS face. Our people eat all this swine’s flesh: pork chops, bacon, ham, pigs feet, hog maws, pig snout, chunks, etc. He did not create this animal to be received with thanksgiving at all. It’s your own lust that makes you curious about eating these things. “Vessels” are a pot. In the south, where gumbo came from, they put everything in that pot, even racoons and frogs… Now our people put all this sea food and pork sausage which is an abomination. No gumbo is cleaner than the other, for if the pot contains one unclean meat, the whole pot be unclean. How angry does this make YAHUAH, our Abbah?
      • 5 – “Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.” Because they don’t want to be next to you. “Boy I ain’t givin’ that up, you crazy. I loves me some gumbo, some pig feet.” “Paul said we can eat this. I’m covered by the blood of Jesus, I can do whatever I want.” YAHUAH said these people are a smoke in HIS nose. That HE is so hot, HE is steaming, and smoke is coming out of HIS nose. That’s how disgusted HE is about you eating these unclean meats and having such an attitude. What is HE going to do to those who have such strong lust for eating these foods and preferring this over HIS word? Oh, HE has a plan for you…
    • Isaiah 66:15-17
      • 15 – “For, behold, YAHUAH will come with fire, and with HIS chariots like a whirlwind, to render HIS anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.” YAHUSHA HaMashiach, through the RUACH HaQadesh of YAHUAH, is going to return in anger. Why with anger? We have over 2.7 billion christians on the earth, and you would think that would be something good. So why is He coming back angry and rebuking with flames of fire? A rebuke means a correction. What would He need to correct man for if all you have to do is believe as the church says? He is coming back hot and rebuking with flames of fire, why?
      • 16-17 – “For by fire and by his sword will YAHUAH plead with all flesh: and the slain of YAHUAH shall be many. They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith YAHUAH.” Saith who? Not Paul, not me, not your pastor, or the church, Saith YAHUAH! And HE is never changing. YAHUAH through YAHUSHA HaMashiach is not pleading through negotiations. HE is not going to ask you why, or even command you to please not do it again, no! HE is telling you that now, presently. In the Prophesy HE is pleading with sword and fire. Which means you will be going straight to death: sword = the first death, and fire = the second death. You wanna question this again? I’m not saying it, YAHUAH is! You had your chance. So many people will be put to death for not obeying. Look at the top priority people. Those who “sanctify and purify themselves” meaning you are the one who says and believes, “I’m clean, I can do this, I can eat whatever I want. I am saved by the blood of christ jesus.” You are the one who allowed the preachers to steer you wrong because you love this life. You like the false doctrine they are giving you, as we read above in 1 Timothy 4:1 – “Now the Ruach speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” You think this is living, this is god, this is easy. Eating what? Swine’s flesh and the abominable broth, your gumbo, even rodents! You don’t want to keep the dietary laws, that’s ok, just know that you are of the top priority on HIS “pleading” list—get it together.

This is a future prophesy. Are you going to believe the christian interpretation, or “thus saith YAHUAH?” Is any of this abomination worth it? You think you can have some broth as long as you don’t eat the actual abominable meat in the vessel? Nope! “…the whole pot be unclean.” YAHUAH said a remnant shall be saved. HE is not looking for billions of people. HE is looking for quality over quantity. Now you understand 1 Timothy 4:4. Do not let them deceive you. ACTS chapter 10 has nothing to do with eating pork, the unclean beasts, but about gentiles being allowed to receive a role in the kingdom of YAHUAH; yes, as servants, but a place no less. Because the gentiles have always been unclean and eating these nasty animals. Now when I think of these foods, I feel a bit sick in my stomach.

We have a lot of verses to cover. Normally we read from the King James Version (KJV) and we will here, yet at times we will be reading from the New International Version (NIV) and you will see why. We encourage you to understand and know, and we will show you that this is the version they now use to colonize the rest of the world. This is the version they want the world to understand, it is written for all languages.

Before we conclude the 2nd part of this discussion of “The Stumbling Blocks of Paul’s Epistles, Part III,” we first need to zoom in and clarify accidental consumption of food not good for thanksgiving.

  • Isaiah 1:19 – “If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land.” So, if you are willing to do the will of YAHUAH our Abbah, and remain obedient to HIS Will, it will be in you to only eat what is good in the land. Therefore, eating things which are not created to be received for thanksgiving is by definition being disobedient.
  • 1 Corinthians 6:13 – “You say, ‘Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and YAHUAH will destroy them both.’ The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for YAHUSHA, and YAHUSHA for the body.”We think we are hungry, so we eat to satisfy our sexual—meaning carnal and temporal—cravings. However, both will be destroyed as YAHUAH is going to destroy this earth and this body, which is made of earth. We will receive a new earth and a new body (Revelation 21, 2 Corinthians 5). The new body is the body in HaMashiach and the Word written in our hearts. However, while living here and now on earth, it is temptation of the flesh which we must overcome, as it is the giving into temptation that will keep us from salvation, including the lust for shrimp, crab, lobster, bacon, etc. YAHUSHA fasted 40 days and 40 nights and defeated all temptations; HE is perfect, we are not. Paul said, “I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection.” Meaning, he is in control of himself, cravings and lusts do not control him.
  • Ecclesiastes 9:7- “Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for YAHUAH now accepteth thy works” (KJV). “Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for YAHUAH has already approved what you do” (NIV). With this the church will tell you, you can eat what you want and do what you want, and if you go astray just pray for forgiveness and it is given to you. The context is speaking of daily bread of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, and your works in obedience to the Will of YAHUAH, which is keeping HIS law. “Eat thy bread with joy.” YAHUSHA is the living bread, the Qahal, the Word—eat/consume of the Word daily. “Drink thy wine with a merry heart.” Rejoice in the blood of YAHUSHA. For HIS sacrifice, if we keep the Will of YAHUAH, “YAHUAH now accepteth thy works.” We may be accepted even in our imperfection. The Will is HIS law be kept, our works is how we keep HIS law. By doing so, we will be accepted. But only after our sins were sanctified and purified in the blood of YAHUSHA for the penalty of sin being death. This is the Grace of YAHUAH our Abbah… All Honor, PRAISE, and Glory to YAHUAH!! Yes, the True context of this chapter/verse is not of actual food, but living bread—the body of HaMashiach and wine, His blood; walk and believe in them and receive your daily bread, and that earthly death comes to us all, but the accepted know that we have a chance at eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Notice how the NIV is different from the KJV? The NIV, as the church interprets, says you may eat any food as what you do is “already approved.” This is the trickery that YAHUSHA warns about the scribes and the pharisees.
  • 1 Corinthians 8:8 – “But meat commendeth us not to YAHUAH: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse” (KJV). “But food does not bring us near to YAHUAH; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do” (NIV). This is saying, when you eat, eat to glorify YAHUAH. Because if you do not, then someone who is weaker, who may be witnessing your eating in temples of idols (churches, some restaurants, homes, etc.), will believe this to be OK. But you, being in righteousness and eating in that manner, will know you are protected, yet he who is in witness, not knowing better, will not. Then, shall he perish and his blood be on your hands. “But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom HaMashiach died? But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against HaMashiach. Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend” (verses 9-13 KJV). In other words, if it offends your brethren that you eat meat, don’t eat meat in front of them, and definitely not in idols’ temples. Also, when fasting, do not boast about it or look weak. This does not give glory to YAHUAH. Again, this is symbolic of your works and not necessarily just food. Now read verses 4-13. PRECEPTS:
    • 1 Corinthians 10:31 – “So whether you eat or drink or whatsoever you do, do it all for the glory of YAHUAH.”
    • Matthew 6:16-20 – “Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Abbah (Father) which is in secret: and thy Abbah, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.” So whatsoever you do, do not to be glorified of self and men, but for the glory of YAHUAH! All Honor, Praise, and Glory be to YAHUAH our Abbah!!!
  • Matthew 6:25
    • “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?” Now the context of this passage is about how YAHUAH provides for you. HE is saying, “Don’t worry about it, I got you, you are my chosen people, the apple of my eye, my treasure, my special and peculiar people. Live righteous and of course I will give you your daily bread and more.” And if we study this correctly—precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little there a little—then the same principles on food is the same on dress; “Do it for the glory of YAHUAH and not for satisfaction of man and flesh.” Because your life in the kingdom is more valuable than life on earth. And your body to come is more valuable than the body you have now. Look to wear your white robe in front of HIS Throne, and not trying to look cute in these clothes. Look for your daily bread of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, and not for tacos and attention. How many selfies are you posting about the restaurants you are visiting while taking a bite? How revealing are your clothes in these selfies and in public? Is this not for attention? How do these things glorify YAHUAH? PRECEPTS:
      • Revelation 19:8 – “And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.” “And white robes were given unto every one of them…” (Revelation 6:11).
      • Daniel 12:10 – “And many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.”
      • John 6:27 – “Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on HIM YAHUAH the Abbah has placed his seal of approval.”
      • John 6:35 – “Then YAHUSHA declared, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’” Daily bread.
      • Matthew 4:4 – “YAHUSHA answered, ‘It is written: Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of YAHUAH.’” HE is never changing.
      • Matthew 5:6 – “Barukh are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”Let the Will of YAHUAH be your meat.
      • John 4:34 – “My food,” said YAHUSHA, “is to do the will of HIM who sent me and to finish HIS work.” What food do you fill your hunger with?
      • Zephaniah 1:8 – “And it shall come to pass in the day of HaMashiach’s sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.” So, worry more about fitting into your white robe, than your jeans. Do not let these Israelites tell you that this verse means you must be wearing your fringes and arm bands and everything else; this is not what this verse is saying. It is speaking of righteousness, fine linen of white. Being clean, sanctified, and purified by the washing of the Water by The Word, earning your white robes in Heaven, purity. Praise YAH!
  • Mark 7:14-23. First we’ll read from the KJV:

“And when HE had called all the people unto him, HE said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand: There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man. If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. And when HE was entered into the house from the people, HIS disciples asked HIM concerning the parable. And HE saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats? And HE said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.” “So, do not worry about if you accidently ate something that is not good for thanksgiving.” This is what Paul was writing in his epistle; he was paraphrasing what HaMashiach is saying here. You are not what you eat in a spiritual way. Simply, do not ask questions for conscience sake as it will eat at you and tear you down to where you feel guilty for doing so, perhaps blocking you from salvation. Due to your own guilt and bad example, you may stray from teaching someone the Truth. You may feel you are no longer worthy because you sinned. He is saying sin does not enter the body through the mouth, but what you put out is of the heart and if it is: “…evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.” Let’s see what it says in the NIV version:

  • “14 Again the Messiah called the crowd to him and said, ‘Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. 15 Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.’ 17 After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable. 18 ‘Are you so dull?’ he asked. ‘Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? 19 For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.’ (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.) 20 He went on: ‘What comes out of a person is what defiles them. 21 For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and defile a person.’”
    • Do you see the craftiness of Esau of satan? The bible says he is more subtle than any beast of the field.  Especially when this passage is not talking about food at all. Let’s get into it: We are going to look at it from Matthew’s perspective:
      • Matthew 15:11 – “Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.” This is HaMashiach saying this. So Mark and Matthew have the same recording, they coincide. The church will use this to say HaMashiach declared all foods clean as you see above in the NIV. We are exploring this from all passages that will bring up food or eating, we are going to exhaust this so satan no longer has an in.
      • Matthew 15:1-2 – “Then came to YAHUSHA scribes and Pharisees, which were of Yarusaliym, saying Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.” So this is the scenario being presented. These Pharisees areasking, “why are your disciples disrespecting the ‘traditions of the elders (men)?’”; not of YAHUAH, but of their own. Which is to wash your hands before you eat.
      • 3 – “But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of YAHUAH by your tradition?” He flips it back on them and asks
      • “why are you breaking YAHUAH’s law and replacing them with your own traditions?” We talked before about the fences that men have put in place of YAHUAH’s law, statutes, and commandments. They make some more strict, and do away with others.
      • 4 – “For YAHUAH commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.” YAHUSHA is telling them what YAHUAH said, “Saith YAHUAH” who is never changing: “If you dishonor your parents you will be killed.” (The fifth commandment “Honor thy father and mother” (Exodus 20:12, 21:17) the follow up to “anyone who speaks evil against his parents must be put to death.”) YAHUAH says one of the ways to honor your parents is by paying expenses for them or taking aging parents into your own home to live with you. YAHUSHA is telling them that YAHUAH expects Yahudiym to care for their aging parents in this manner.
      • 5-7 – “But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of YAHUAH of none effect by your tradition. Ye hypocrites.”But now you preachers/pharisees say, “we have a tradition which allows for someone to declare that some of their possessions or money or other resources were korban,” meaning a gift devoted to god. This is the spiritual equivalent of a tax write-off; a way to shield resources from being taken for some other purpose. That loophole in tradition apparently allowed such a person to continue to hold on to these valuable items and make use of them. Alternatively, they could claim the goods were devoted to god as-of-today, then later annul the vow. In this way, they could avoid the responsibility to care for their parents either to save the cost, or because of resentment. This was like welfare today where if a family member files for welfare, another will have to pay for it, like a father or a spouse, etc. YAHUSHA is calling out these Pharisees, these preachers. He not only criticizes them for hypocrisy, but also for granting those under their instruction permission to openly violate the clear intention of YAHUAH’s original command. He is says, “You allow for people to tell their parents, ‘what you would have gained from me is given to god.’” So, He is saying to them you got some nerve to ask me “why are the disciples not keeping the traditions of men? when you are not keeping YAHUAH’s commands. You have put up fences, you have done away with the Word of YAHUAH and replaced them with your own, and causing many people to fall, just as you do with the holiday feasts sacrificed to idols.” All this because somebody didn’t wash their hands before they sat to eat. “Please! You hypocrite!”
      • 7-9 – “Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” YAHUSHA is quoting Isaiah 29:13. These people, with their mouth they say, ‘I love the lord’, ‘Oh praise god’, ‘Oh I’m blessed’, ‘how beautiful god has been to me’, ‘my god talks to me and he said…’ and ‘how much they honor and admire god’. They do all of this lip service, but their heart is far from HIM, the TRUE YAHUSHA HaMashiach. When what they really want is to be glorified themselves. To get rid of what YAHUAH has commanded of us and replace it with what they feel should be there, like washing your hands before eating, go ahead and not take care of your parents by declaring korban. These Pharisees weren’t teaching the law and telling everyone to be righteous, they were being hypocrites teaching of their own understanding. They tell you you may eat all unclean meats which is an abomination to YAHUAH because to HIM they are nasty, yet they command you to wash your hands!? Is that not hypocritical? What is it on your hands that is an abomination unto YAHUAH? Only if you touch the carcass of the unclean meat, but that is not why they command you wash your hands, is it? You can eat it, but you must wash your hands if you touch it? No, that doesn’t make any sense. How then can you eat it? Fork and knife? It’s good to ingest, but not to touch? No! They command you wash your hands because they do not want your filth around them. To them you are a filthy peasant who needs to be controlled because you are too stupid to govern yourself.
      • 10 – “And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand.” Now YAHUSHA is done with these pharisees, and is like “you know what back up, check this out, everybody listen, harken unto me, and don’t just listen but understand.” Obviously he is about to speak something for people which have an ear to understand, this is a parable;keep this in mind: He is speaking only to those who seek The Word of Truth.
      • 11 – “Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.” Now here we are, a witness to Mark 5:19, as the gospels retell many of the same scenarios, yet with slightly different details. Have we yet discussed food at all in this passage? No! Because it is not about food as the christian church would teach, as weak-minded Israelites will teach, as the NIV teaches, all because they want that Honey Baked Ham, that pork chop, “my baby back baby back baby back ribs.” They want the lobster, crab, shrimp, and every other abominable thing. See, you can’t take this verse literal; otherwise, you could eat anything including human meat, skunk, dog, mouse, whatever. No, the context is the same all the way from verse 1. We are talking about not keeping the Will of YAHUAH, and instead replacing it with the traditions and instructions of men, such as washing hands before eating.  Simply not sterilizing your hands before eating is not going to send you to damnation as it does not defile you, No! However, being disobedient to YAHUAH’s Will is surely damnation.
      • 12 – “Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?” So YAHUSHA deeply offended these Pharisees. Obviously we are still talking about the same thing. They got their feelings hurt because YAHUSHA does not recognize their traditions, even says they are disrespectful to YAHUAH’s Word.
      • 13-14 – “ But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Abbah hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” Whoooaa! Wow!! This is why you have to be careful of who you are following, courting, listening to, in fellowship with. If they are saying you do not have to keep the commandments, that jesus christ has done away with these things, then they are liars, they are blind leading you to the ditch, the bottomless pit
      • 15-17 – “Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable. And YAHUSHA said, Are ye also yet without understanding? Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?” This is why we said pay attention to how he was speaking to the crowd plainly and then with a parable. Because here Peter is asking, “please clarify this parable to us.” YAHUSHA said “are you so dull that you did not understand, Peter? You have been with me since the beginning brotha, I should not have to explain this to you, that whatever enters at the mouth goes into the belly and is put through waste: sweat, urine, and stool, it does not defile you.” Anyone who teaches different of YAHUAH’s laws, statutes, and commandments is blind, and anyone that listens to these false prophets is also blind and both shall fall into the ditch, the bottomless pit, the eternal lake of fire.
      • 18-19 – “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.” Evil thoughts:
        • Murders – like kidnapping people, taking them as slaves, and killing them. Killing people for not keeping your filthy disgusting secrets. Killing people with your Pharmakia and science for money and control. Killing people because we are the children of YAHUAH and you are jealous.
        • Adulteries – like they promote to everybody in music and media that it is ok to sleep with other people’s wives, you down with O.P.P. yeah you know me! I think I just aged myself right there, but that’s OK.
        • Fornication – see this is not a commandment, this is a law of YAHUAH, which YAHUSHA is confirming here that the law is not done away with. You cannot sleep with animals, your parents, siblings, prostitutes, etc.
        • Theft – like going into other people’s countries, kicking them out, and calling them illegal aliens. Or going to other countries and stealing all of their resources, planting your own people of power in place, so you can become wealthy and bring in a new world order.
        • False witness – like saying that the people that live over in Yasharal and Yarusaliym are the real Yahudiym, and saying that people that came over here in slavery are black people, negroes, African American, etc
        • Blasphemy – like saying that Matthew 15:11 & Mark 5:19 was talking about HaMashiach is giving you the stamp of approval to go out and eat all abominable foods. like what these preachers and Pharisees do by lying to the people and replacing YAHUAH’s word with their own traditions, like holidays.
      • 20 – “These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.” Context confirmed! And still we are not speaking of food. YAHUSHA said,
        • “But to eat with unwashen hands”—but to what? “But to eat with unwashen hands”—No, but to eat some good ol’ “swine’s flesh.” “But to eat with unwashen hands”—No, but to eat my mama’s gumbo, her “broth of abominable things is in her vessels”—No, but to eat any abominable food that YAHUAH said we can’t eat in Leviticus 11, right? No!

“But to eat with unwashen hands, defileth NOT a man.”

See, we never left the context of the chapter all the way from verse 1-20. In verse 1 they asked, “why do the disciples transgress the traditions of the elders (men) by not washing their hands before eating?” This is what we have been talking about all along. Here in verse 20, YAHUSHA concludes, “but to eat with unwashen hands defileth NOT a man.” This is all we talked about, other than exposing their hypocrisy and the Will of YAHUAH. It had nothing to do with eating foods. YAHUSHA is saying, if a man is hungry and comes in and grabs a sandwich, which is good for thanksgiving, and eats it without washing his hands, he does not defile himself as this is not a law, statute, or commandment of YAHUAH. This is simply a tradition of man, meaning he has a choice to follow this tradition or not as long as it does not go against YAHUAH’s laws, statutes, and commandments. There is no commandment that says “thou shalt wash thy hands before eating.” Nor a law that says “speak unto the children of Israel and say ‘yall better wash yall’s nasty filthy dirty hands before taking a bite to eat I know that, or else it’s the lake of fire for you.’” It does not exist.

  • YAHUSHA is saying, don’t worry about a little dirt, germs, or bacteria that goes into your mouth, it’s just going to go into your stomach, be burnt up by the stomach acid, and the rest will be pushed out—the system built by the wisdom of my Abbah. That is it, nothing else.
  • So now these people, who are more subtle than any beast of the field, can no longer use their magic on you with these passages, naw. We took that away. “This passage no longer belongs to you, satan, you may no longer use this against us in your crafty counsel.”
  • Isaiah 66:15-17 – “For, behold, YAHUAH will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render HIS anger with fury, and HIS rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by HIS sword will YAHUAH plead with all flesh: and the slain of YAHUAH shall be many. They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith YAHUAH.” This is speaking of the end when YAHUAH sends YAHUSHA and the Angels on their chariots. He is obviously upset about something because HE is coming back to correct man and the damage he made. Remember HE is not sitting down and making new legislation and treaties and negotiations, NO! But with fire and sword is HE going to plead with all flesh. He is not signing any contracts, the contract is the scriptures, specifically the law, statues, and commandments, the covenant HE made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and HE is keeping HIS end of the contract. Are you keeping yours? Now HE is coming to see who is keeping the contract; it says HE is going to kill many. Who is part of this? Who is one of the targeted? Those that say, “Well I am going to declare this meat clean myself, I’m going to say that it is OK to eat it, that christ said I could. I’m going to write a new version and put it in parenthesis and call it the NIV. I am going to follow my pastor because he loves me, he will never steer me wrong. I am not going to read it for myself, no need to study because he went to the seminary for that, I’ll cheat off his test.” Mhmm, you didn’t know your pastor just may be getting an “F” from YAHUAH did you? “I am washed by the blood of jesus.” NO! You are eating swine’s flesh and the rest of the abominations that YAHUAH said we cannot eat. You will be in the ditch together. I hope it was good to you while it lasted. This prophesy has not yet come to pass so how could it be done away with? And if you didn’t understand who this came from, HE told you, “SAITH YAHUAH.” Not me, not your spouse, not Dad, not Grandad, not Paul, not your preacher, not any book outside of scripture, not jesus, but “SAITH YAHUAH.” Anyone who is self-righteous, eating swine’s flesh and other abominations, and did not repent up to the day YAHUSHA comes, will not make it. We are not telling you what to do, the choice is yours. We are just a watchman sounding the trumpet. We are only highlighting the truth. It’s up to you to accept and do them. YAHUAH said, “One man plants and another man waters but HE is the one that brings the increase” (1 Corinthians 3:6-9). That is all we are doing—planting the seed; you have to water it through the Ruach, living water, wisdom. Then, YAHUAH will give you understanding. This was all about eating meat created by YAHUAH, eating with unwashed hands, not that YAHUSHA cleared abominable foods. You now have the ammunition to fight these false prophets, these preachers and scribes, as you saw also in the NIV that they said the foods were OK to eat. Now back to…
  • 1 Timothy 4:3 where Paul says, “Now the Ruach speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which YAHUAH hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the Truth.” In these latter days people will be, and are, teaching that you can eat anything and not just the “meats, which YAHUAH hath created to be received with thanksgiving.” It continues, “commanding to abstain from receivable meats for them which believe and knows the TRUTH.” Currently, they are only teaching lies, trying to get us all to fall from the faith and give into seducing spirits. Soon it will be demanded, and we will be persecuted for keeping HIS law and not their traditions of men and seducing spirits. Learn it now, be diligent as there will be a time when it is unavailable to learn. YAHUAH asks, “who will stand up for me?” YAHUSHA warns, the righteous will be persecuted, beheaded, and killed for HIS namesake. There is a story in the bible where a mother lost all her sons to a horrible death in one day because they refused to eat swine which the king tried to force them to eat. Also, Daniel refused to eat the King Nebuchadnezzar’s meat because it was sacrificed to idols. And for not bowing down to his statue (idolatry) he was thrown into the lion’s den, and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego into the furnace of fire. Yet, did YAHUAH save them? They all came out without a scratch or even a minute sign of being put there. Praise YAH!!!! They were willing to die for HIS namesake. They kept HIS commandments, therefore, could ask anything of HIM and it be given, and they were saved. Isn’t that somthin’? That was a sign of things to come. Are you ready?
  • Again, this principle of food is the same principle with clothing. We are not telling you what to wear, simply dress modestly. Do not dress to draw attention to yourself.

This is applicable also to hair:

Most people are at least mildly perplexed after reading 1 Timothy 2:9-10; it reads:

“…in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works” (1 Timothy 2:9-10).

We’ll discuss this and more next Sabbath in, “The Stumbling Blocks of Paul’s Epistles, Part IV.”
